How can I benefit from using jobsnet.lk?
If you are a job seeker, looking for your first job, or considering a career change, then jobsnet.lk is perfect for you! You can browse or search for vacancies and apply online immediately. Your application will be sent straight-through to the HR team of jobsnet.lk registered employers. They will contact you if you’re shortlisted.
How do I register to jobsnet.lk?
Registration is free. You can register easily by clicking ‘Register‘ on the Home Page and select Candidate on the registration form. Once you have registered with us, you can use your account to apply for jobs available at all registered companies using jobsnet.lk Profile or Linkedin profile.
Can i set my profile private / Public?
Yes, you can set it from ‘Update Profile’ on your dashboard.
If you set your profile ‘private’, when you apply to jobs through our services, only your forwarded resume (CV) data will be made available to the companies you are applying to and Your profile data will not be available to any one.
If you set your profile ‘public’, visitors to jobsnet.lk who knows your profile URL, can view your profile. When you apply to jobs through our services, your forwarded resume (CV) data and Your profile data will be made available to the companies you are applying to. (If your profile public, you can keep empty on phone no field on profile for security & privacy )
Can I apply for more than one vacancy in a company?
Yes you can apply for any number of vacancies advertised by a company.
Once I apply for a vacancy can I view the status of my application?
Yes, Company will sort candidate resumes and send them their status as rejected selected or shortlisted through their profile dashboard to your email.
Can I edit my profile on a later date?
Yes – you can edit your profile at any time by logging in to your account. You can login to your account from the jobsnet.lk home page. Once you have logged in, you can select and edit a profile that you have with any company.
Yes – you can delete your profile at any time by logging in to your account. You can login to your account from the jobsnet.lk home page. Once you have logged in, you can select the update profile from the left menu and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Delete account? then click Confirm.
Can I upload my CV and my photograph along with my profile?
Yes you can upload your CV in .doc, .docx, .pdf, format. You can also upload your profile image (photograph) in .jpg, .gif, .tif or .png format.
How does the employer see my information and my application?
When you apply for a vacancy, you can do two things to present your profile to the employer.
First, you can fill out your profile, it highly reccommended, So please put as much information as you can into your profile.
Secondly, you can upload your CV, and cover letter. So applying through jobsnet.lk is no different to a traditional application – by email or post – but the difference is that you will benefit from the additional features of the jobsnet.lk recruitment system – such as straight through processing, and employer feedback information etc. Your application is stored immediately in a database, so there is no chance of getting lost in the post, or getting blocked by a spam filter.
Is it absolutely necessary to fill in all the sections of the profile?
It is not absolutely necessary to fill in all the sections. However it is highly advisable that you fill in important sections such as Education, Qualifications and Professional Experience, to clearly show the employer the information which is vital to evaluate your application. So fill out the profile to the best of your ability to improve the quality of your application.
How do I view expired vacancies?
You can view deadline for the specific vacancy on the vacancy/Job page. Expired vacancies are not displayed to the job seekers.
How confidential is the information I provide upon registration with jobsnet.lk?
Your application and personal details will be treated in the strictest of confidence. Your information can only be viewed by authorised users of employers you have registered with. No third parties can access your application otherwise your profile set to public.
Once I have registered with jobsnet.lk, will my information and CV be seen by all the registered employers?
Once you have registered with jobsnet.lk and set profile to ‘private’ from update profile, your information can be viewed only by you. Your information cannot be viewed by any registered employers of jobsnet.lk or by the general public, if your profile set to private. However, the moment you apply for a vacancy, the information contained in your application, which can include your CV and other personal details, will be visible – but to ONLY the companies you have applied to.

How can I benefit from using jobsnet.lk?
If you are an employer, then jobsnet.lk will give you a complete and comprehensive electronic recruitment platform, for online vacancy advertising, and for automating the recruitment process in a totally paperless environment. Registered employers get their own jobsnet.lk Employer Page and Dashboard where they can list vacancies and also provide information on the benefits of working for the company.
How do I register to jobsnet.lk?
Registration is free. You can register easily by clicking ‘Register‘ on the Home Page and select Employer on the registration form. Once you have registered with us, you can use your account to purchase pricing package and post job vacancies available at your company.
