•B.Sc. Degree in Biology / Bio-medical Engineering / Para-medical Sciences etc. with 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales
-OR A/L qualified in Bio Science Stream and 4 years of experience in Sales of Critical Care / Operating Theater / ICU Equipment.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop professional relationships in the knowledge based industry.
•Ability and willingness to visit hospitals / medical centres located in various parts of Sri Lanka as well as to work long hours as required.
•Based on the relevant experience and track record, the applicants are considered for an Asst. Manager or Executive position.
•Securing orders to supply, ensuring delivery on time and meeting sales targets and GP margins.
•Visiting hospitals, medical centres and studying their requirements for Critical Care /surgical/ Operating Theater and ICU Equipment
•Obtaining inputs from hospital administrators, consultant doctors and other medical and paramedical staff and submitting proposals to supply Critical Care Equipment / Surgical and Operating Theatre equipment with technical training, after sales and technical support.
•Compiling price quotations and preparing proposals.
•Developing and maintaining a long term relationship with clients and other business partners
•Carrying out promotional activities targeting the clients and potential clients for product development and market penetration.
•Maintaining records of sales, debtors and customer surveys etc. and following up with clients as required.
