Job Description

Candidate Profile
•Diploma in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institute with relevant experience for 1 to 2 years
•Must possess a valid riding/driving license and be willing to visit sites for measurements and to observe physical conditions
•Any experience with generators, elevators, motors, material handling, pumps & machinery related experience, Electrical installations and fabrication works would be an added advantage
•Capability to draw 2D design drawings using CAD for plumbing and steel fabrication etc. and willing to enhance design capabilities. 
•Experience in M & E Projects preferably with exposure to large scale MEP Projects.
•Expertise in costing for Steel Fabrication / Elevators / Automated car parking / Storage and Material Handling System is an added advantage
•Material management for projects.
•Exposure to project management will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities
•Studying the requirements of the respective projects, estimate and playing a key role in the quotation and tendering process. 
•Visiting sites and compiling cost aspects to support all drafting activities with final as-built drawings.
•General arrangement drawings for generators, elevators, motors & related Hayleys Engineering product portfolio including fabrication & installations with related peripherals like Generator Canopies, Sound Proofing structures etc.
•Prepare the drawings of shaft details of elevator installation
•Prepare the Plumbing related design drawings for motors & controllers installation
•Electrical Single Line Diagrams and Panel Layout drawings
•Mechanical and fabrication drawings related to site conditions
•Facilitating the Quantity Surveying Function by developing quotations for bidding.
•Development of material lists and BOQs
•Periodic project progress monitoring and reporting as against the BOQ.
•Analysing and reporting on final billing in terms of Planned vs. Actual
