Role description

  • Support Windows 2008/2012 & 2016 server platforms, and images for multiple sites, utilized Active Directory/group policy to support and secure clients
  • Minimum of 5 Years relevant work experience
  • Expert troubleshooting skills in Windows 2008/2012 & 2016 environments
  • Experience in FTP and File server management
  • Advanced knowledge in Windows Group Policy Management
  • Skills in Windows server patching (SCCM)
  • Experience in SCOM Monitoring and Configuration.
  • Experience on working with Cloud Technologies (AWS)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to work on Weekend On call rosters
  • The role consists but is not limited to:
  • Administer (monitor, support, prevent, maintain, fix, improve) the virtual and physical VMware & HP blade infrastructure
  • Provide project support as required
  • Provide shift & weekend coverage and on call where required

Key Skills

  • Microsoft System Center Configurations Manager 2012 Knowledge
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware /Hyper-V)
  • HP servers incl. HP Blades/c7000 enclosures,
  • Excellent investigation and troubleshooting skills of complex issues
  • Capability to determine and highlight risks (migration risks, design risks etc.) to Management
  • Scripting skills (Power Shell)
  • Operating System knowledge (Windows Server 2008/2012)
